Why this sock? Why now? In 1999, Gregory Sovell (a leader in underwear) and Jameson Wells (an expert in socks) were working at a previous brand (for the purpose of this story, we'll call it Brand X). A sock was designed that everyone loved, taking the best of the best of sock technology. It was a hit. Over the years, people came, people went, and that sock changed. Now at C-IN2, Gregory decided to rebuild that original sock and improve upon it. This is the next chapter of that story. C-IN2 suggests using a non-chlorine bleach on the whites to preserve the elastane. It should be noted that after the first wash/dry cycle, the socks will appear to have shrunk. This is a function of the elastane and they will stretch out to fit a shoe size of 9 to 12. C-IN2 hopes that is new socks will be more loved than its predecessor.
