Utah Undie Run took place on Saturday and involved around 3,000 people running two miles through Salt Lake City in just their underwear. The message Utahns are not "boring" or "uptight". As many as 12,000 people joined Facebook to participate in this fun event. The undie run was all about having fun and protest what they called the "uptight" laws of Utah. If you wanted to protest anything just write it on your body and run in your underwear, the run itself was a protest to urge new young voters to get out vote because their voice is important. Great way to bring the younger vote to the spotlight running in their underwear and participating on Facebook.
The group is set to enter the Guinness Book of Records if the run is verified. Organisers estimate that 3,000 people turned up in their underwear, beating the previous record of 55. Check out the organizers website for more details.
